Dr. Ravi Kumar Gupta was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. He is the co-founder of Save a Life CPR, which was established in 2011, and has trained over 5,000 high school and medical students in AHA “Family & Friends” CPR and AED usage with the guidance of Corinne Ruiz. Save a Life CPR has worked with a mission to “train students to train others,” and a vision of “preventing heart disease and eradication of deaths from sudden cardiac arrest”.
Ravi Gupta has been awarded with the following awards:
- “Youth of the Year (2012) Beautiful Bakersfield Award” from the Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce
- “Outstanding Volunteer (2012)” Award from American Heart Association, Bakersfield Chapter
- “Public Leadership Award (2012)” from Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association, Bakersfield Chapter
Ravi Gupta recently graduated from a top medical school abroad and is currently preparing to begin a residency in Internal Medicine.
